Your Getaway in York Beach Maine
The Yorks, Maine, are comprised of York, York Village, York Harbor, York Beach, and Cape Neddick.
Each area of York offers a different appeal. There are quaint shopping areas in both York Village and York Beach. York Village also offers several historic attractions. York Harbor and York Beach offer some of southern Maine's most spectacular beaches. York Beach offers an old-fashioned downtown area with a variety of shops and amusements and, in the summer months, is particularly well-suited to a family vacation or family reunion.
York Harbor offers its own beach aptly named York Harbor Beach. There is a limited amount of parking there, but there is seasonal trolley service in town. York Harbor, Maine, also offers the York Art Association which features demonstrations, displays and openings by both local musicians and artists.
